Little mouse/Muisje

You might have seen her already,

but M-tje has made a sweet little mouse!

 

Jullie hebben haar misschien al gezien,

maar M-tje heeft een schattig muisje gemaakt!

 

And to make her feel welcome,

M-tje and I made her a little basket.

Well.....M-tje made the basket

and I filled it with yummy things :-)

 

En om te zorgen dat ze zich welkom voelt,

hebben M-tje en ik een mandje voor haar gemaakt.

Nou ja....M-tje heeft het mandje gemaakt

en ik heb het gevuld met lekkere dingetjes :-)

 

She was very happy with the little basket! 

Ze was erg blij met het mandje!

 

And M-tje also made another little friend,

a little owl!

En M-tje maakte nog een nieuw vriendje,

een uiltje!

 

I looooooove new friends :-) 

Ik hooooooou van nieuwe vriendjes :-)

And now we're going to have a party with

wine, water, honey and strawberry marmalade!!!

 

En nu gaan we een feestje houden met

wijn, water, honing en aardbeienjam!!!

Visiting Nella

Last thursday I went with Hanny, Ineke and M-tje

to our dear friend Nella!

 She really spoiled me....

...I got hte biggest cookie ever

M-tje made a little gift for Nella.... 

A cage with a ball of wool in it.

I think M-tje did that because Nella is the knitting queen.

Nella made the 2 little sheep next to the cage!!!

Dear Nella took us out for lunch... 

I ate almost all of Hanny's omelette

And then I started with M-tje's salmon... 

She coud have the bread

Nella gave us gifts too....

She had a box full of materials

where we could take our pick from... 

The watch and lace were a gift from a friend of Ineke.

And Nella had a big stash of lace... 

The little soapshell smells so good...

maybe I should nick it and put it in my wardrobe!!!

Oh....I don't have any clothes

And then......

Hanny asked if she could see the little dolls Nella knits!!! 

It was wonderful to meet so many small friends!!!

When I visited the critter department,

one little mousegirl came up to me... 

Hello E-beertje....

could I please come home with you??

My friend is already sold and I feel so alone here!!

Well....what could I do...but say "yes"

(please don't ask about the image in the mirror...

that's M-tje's friend Hanny ) 

So Vlinder (butterfly) came home with me

We had a wonderful day at Nella's.

She's such a sweet person!!!

Christmas presents

We have been spoiled rotten!!!!!

Last thursday the mailman delivered a suprise package from Germany.

We immediately knew it probably was from

Birgit and Flutterby and M-tje and I were so exited!!!

First we were going to read the card,

but because I'm not so good in english,

M-tje started reading and I...

dived into the "kartoffeln"

And then we opened the packages!

Look.....

A beautiful nativity and I love those wooden decorations!!!

And a whole lot of other decorations too....lovely!!!

But there was more...

A sweet little glass dragon and cute glass birdie!!!

And those mushrooms are sooooo cool!!!

Did you see the "schwibbögen" wreath...I did

But there was still one more package...

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh....

it's a Blob!!!!!!!!!!!!

M-tje loved Birgit's Blobs and now she has her own!

I was in loooooooooooooove.

Ofcourse I opened the cage immediately,

but Blob didn't want to leave the cage

Birgit and Flutterby...this was a wonderful surprise!

We love all the presents.

Her name is Delaja.

I think she's sooooo pretty!

Piano

Look what I found in the mailbox today!!!!

A very fat envelope from my young friend Philip!

He's only 15,

but he loves miniatures just as much as I do!

The back of the envelope was funny!!! 

It says...

It should resemble E-beertje,

but it looks more like a mouse!

Well...I love the drawing Philip!!

Look what was inside.....

For M-tje a witch hat and a Egyptian statue!

And for me a Christmas tree and...............

A PIANO!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Isn't that the most wonderful gift ever???

I can already play "Brother John"!

It's the only song M-tje knows how to play on a piano

I already found the perfect place for it in my little house!

Update trunk

I haven't done much today,
because I do need M-tje when I'm building something....
even if it's only to lift up the heavy bottle of glue

But today M-tje had a visitor!
Wiena came to visit her, b
ecause she really wanted to see M-tje's miniatures with her own eyes
and not only on photos!

Wiena brought M-tje a present
and I may show you what it is!

Isn't it beautiful???

It makes me wonder about life!

But back to more earthly matters....

the trunk!!!!

I managed to make some more drawers and shelves!

It's looking prettier by the minute!!!

M-tje was a bit pissed by the way!

The proportions aren't very realistic!!!

And they forgot to make the windows!
