Moleside Cottage 31 may 2011

On the 31 of May we went with the train to London.
We arrived at Charing Cross and walked from there to the Big Ben.
M-tje's daughter Jasmijn wanted to see the Big Ben.

On Trafalger square we saw this ship in a bottle.
I thought it was the perfect size for me,
but M-tje didn't want to open the bottle for me

When we arrived at the Big Ben,
the clock struck 11, that was fun to hear!

The we walked through 4 parks,
St James Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
In all of them there is a letterbox hidden.
But we only found the one in st James Park!

But what was so nice...
In the little book, we found the stamp of our friend Jolande....
She had been there too in december

It was a bit dissapointing we onl found 1,
but the walk though the parks was lovely too!!!
We saw al lot of squirrels!!

And we saw the statue of Peter Pan!

The fairies really loved me

And these bears...

My best friend Spinnie gave me a photo of them!!!
And now I've met them myself
I gave them a big hug!

Then we walked across the Tower Bridge..
Jasper, M-tje's son wanted to do that!
And I've made some nice photo's of grotesques!
M-tje loves those things!

After that we went to Covent Garden and enjoyed some lovely street performance,
but I forgot to take pictures!
After a lovely diner we walked back to the station and went back to Marden.
It was only a short 10 minutes walk to our little cottage!

We had a wonderful day with all sorts of weather...
Rain, hail, thunder, but most of the time the sun was shining!!!

How we envy you... London is Birgit's favourite town and Flutterby's biggest trips were to Fehmarn and Hamburg (LOL). We were not surprised the fairies loved you... and what a nice thing to find a friend in that letterbox. Thank you for showing us this beautiful pictures!

Greetings
Flutterby + Birgit
