Boekstandaard/Bookstand

Eindelijk heb ik M-tje over kunnen halen om weer met mini bezig te gaan....

ze is op het moment alleen maar aan het knippen, plakken en kliederen met verf!

Finally I could persuade M-tje to start with miniatures again..
at the moment all she does is cutting and glueing paper
and making a mess with paint!

Maar vandaag hebben we iets gemaakt voor het boomhuis!

But today we made something for the treehouse!

Iets wat al heel lang op M-tje's emo-lijstje stond.

Namelijk een boekstandaard. 

De werkbeschrijving staat in Minivirus nr 12.

Something she had on her to-do-list for a long time!
A bookstand.
She found the tutorial in a Belgian dollshouse magazine.

Eerst moesten we ijzerdraadjes in elkaar draaien...

First we had to twist wire...

 Tussendoor zo nu en dan even kijken  of alles goed past! 

Het draakje wou maar niet van het boek afkomen!!!

Gelukkig is 'ie niet gevallen.

Now and then we had to check everything was in the right place!
The dragon didn't want to leave the book!!!
But thankfully he didn't fell off!

Toen bloementape er omheen wikkelen! 

 

Then we've put florist tape aroud the wire!

Toen nog een kaarsje voor het licht!

En het uiltje van Dahlia kwam ook even kijken wat er aan de hand was!

Als finishing touch.....de handtas van Dahlia opgehangen.

 

And a candle for a bit of light!

The little owl came to see what was going on!

And the finishing touch...hanging Dahlia's handbag in place.

En toen hebben we hem naar het boomhuis toe gebracht!

Dahlia was er ontzettend blij mee! 

 

Then we brought it to the treehouse!

Dahlia was so happy with it!

Toen M-tje en ik weer vertrokken fluisterde Dahlia me in mijn oor

dat een bed ook wel heel erg welkom zou zijn ;-)

 

When M-tje and I left,

Dahlia whispered in my ear she would welcome a nice bed ;-)

Ik zal zien wat ik kan doen!!!!

 

Let's see what I can do about that!!!!
